“We are exited to host the T20 women’s Qualifiers; this shows the faith that ICC has in our capacity to host an event of this magnitude.
“The work for us starts immediately to prepare the grounds and also ensure we get local partners to support us . Last year we did well hosting the challenge B tournament therefore we commit to giving local Cricket fans a good experience this time round.” Said the Uganda Cricket Association Operations Manager Joshua Mwanja during a press release .
Tanzania, Zimbabwe , Nigeria , Namibia , Rwanda and two teams from Division two qualifiers are to be hosted in Uganda with her inclusive Making eight teams in December 7th – 18th 2023 for the International Cricket Council T20 world cup qualifiers for Africa .
Over 60,000 teams take part in the International Cricket and the last two teams from the T20 qualifiers o be hosted in Uganda are to represent Africa in the Global qualifiers to the world Cup women T20 next year in Bangladesh .
