Uganda Cranes defender Musitafa Kizza has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Portuguese side Futebol de Clube Arouca.

The roving left back joined the Arouquenses on a three-year deal in June this year but the player and club have opted to have the contract terminated.

“Arouca FC and Kizza have reached an agreement for the friendly termination of contract.” A statement by the club reads.

Kizza leaves without playing any competitive game for the club and only making a few appearances on bench.

Prior to joining Arouca, the former KCCA FC left back had a stint with CF Montreal in the Major League Soccer where he also had his contract terminated.

Kizza was one of the young players that Mike Mutebi promoted to the KCCA FC senior team in 2017 after performing well with the Junior Team.

Others included Allan Okello, Julius Poloto, Noel Nasasira, Peter Magambo and Ronald Kikonyogo among others.
