KCCA FC striker Brian Kayanja has joined Maroons FC on loan until the end of the season.

The gangly forward who has struggled to get playing time at MTN-Omondi has sought solace in Luzira.

He becomes the second signing the Prison Warders have confirmed on deadline day, joining Abel Eturude who returns to Maroons also on a sixth-month deal.

Kayanja performed relatively well while at Soltilo Bright Stars before moving to Sofapaka in Kenya two years ago.

Upon his return to Uganda, he joined UPDF FC in 2021 and player there for a season before joining KCCA at the start of the 2021/22 season.

At KCCA, Kayanja has failed to command playing time, being down in the pecking order with Brian Aheebwa, Charles Lwanga and Muhammad Shaban.
