15-year-old Claus Rebh Kagimu has transferred to Glasgow United 07s, an entity based in Scotland.

The development comes after a spell at Sons of Struth Football Academy.

Glasgow United 07s head coach Robert Kenney has hailed the young forward’s technical ability on the ball as well as his fancy runs (with blistering pace) on and off the ball.

Claus (Kagimu) brings technical skills to the football culture here (at Glasgow United 07s). He has adapted to the fast paced nature of the football game in Scotland we also think that with his skills coupled with the pace of the game here can only develop into an excellent footballer.

For starters, Kagimu who plays in the central and wide positions commenced his football journey at the Uganda Youth Soccer Academy (UYSA).

He is son to Ivan Kakembo, a holder of the FIFA club management diploma.

Kakembo is a former football administrator at Uganda’s most successful most family, Sports Club Villa and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

Kagimu is agile and pacy

Kagimu had also featured at Pro Touch Soccer Academy in Camden, London and Cambuslang Yellow colts.

Pro Touch Soccer Academy has an exchange program with Uganda Youth Soccer Academy (UYSA).

Kagimu was born in Kampala on 31st October 2007 before he shifted base to the United Kingdom at an early age to enhance his education.
