And while it’s concerningly dystopian to even feel like this needs to be noted, we can assure you the rappers to watch for in our next lap are, to a reasonable degree of certainty, actual flesh-and-blood beings.

Her real name is Acayo Winnie Agnes, age 25 but she is known by her stage name “WINNIE BK “ . She was born in Kampala but raised in Gulu city in Northern Uganda and she had most of her education in Kampala where she sat completed her “O” and “A” at Jonathan Memorial College Palissa/ Butebu.
Winnie BK started singing at a young age and recorded her first song in 2011 when she was in Senior 2 and then decided to concentrate on studies. She finished her studies in 2015 and got back in studio in 2016. After one year of being an independent artist, she got signed to PHATBOI records, a recording label in Northern Uganda, managed by Tony Eii and she has been making music since.
She has over thirty recorded but not released songs in studio and three music videos that include “Better Than Ever”, “Addition” and ” An ki ngo na”.
She has officially released fifteen songs that can be found across all music platforms like Spotify among others.
In 2022 “An ki ngo na “was debuted in all the radio stations in Northern Uganda ,got to northern Uganda Top 20 on Mega Fm, a popular radio station in the North,made it to No: 1 and stayed there for three consecutive weeks as best song in Northern Uganda.
For now, her first achievement is winning the Best Hiphop Artist in Northern Uganda Awards 2022.
Winnie says that her dream is to win more, and make it big in music as the best hiphop artist in the Country.
