Having grown up in a hip hop culture environment in cape Town south Africa , Kurt gives his story telling and creations an original feel which is entirely out of experience in various aspects foristance Ape Town that’s about segregation , graffiti artist ,hip hop , camaraderie and so much more.
He has grown so hard in his artistry of creations since he graduated in 2004 at Monash University in TV and film , worked for South Africa Broadcasting Co-oporation for six years .
The award winning film maker set a pace for the South Africa film industry setting the bar high since he has also been part of the creation of some Hip hop music videos in South Africa , he started writing the film “APE TOWN ” in 2012 still putting things together and funds until this year 2023 he revealed it’s premier saying it’s high time it’s brought to the screens . It’s composed of people who are not common to our faces t in the film industry that’s to say non actors but basically the common people of cape Town bringing about originality.
Ordeson has worked on a number of projects that have given people a taste of what he’s capable of like the previous one Not in my neighborhood , We Rise For Our Land , Taking off the Mask that have been nominated in various awards , for example Encounter’s International Film festival , American Black Film
and African International Film Festival .
