Last month, rapper G-Pet ignited controversy by publicly slamming Gulu rappers, branding them as “Lizards” and asserting his unrivaled dominance in the region.
This bold declaration caused commotion in the northern part of the pearl, prompting a swift response from fellow rapper Lampy Joseph from Soulz of Afrika, a Hip-hop record label based in Gulu, demanding an apology for the perceived disrespect.
The tension reached its peak on Saturday 06/04/2024 when G-Pet dropped a scathing diss track titled “Who is in Gulu.” Not one to back down, Joseph also fired back with his own blistering track, “Disciplinary Action” on Sunday 07/04/2024. The feud between these two has undoubtedly set the scene on fire, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next move in this heated battle.
As of the publication of this article, another Gulu-based rapper, Darulez Tha Rapper , is preparing to release another diss track titled “Apara Anga” targeting G-Pet.
