The man himself Loukman Ali was nominated in the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2023 in the categories of best cinematographer and best director that he scooped for the movie brotherhood , in his absence Mathew Nabwiso a Ugandan filmmaker and actor collected the awards .He took to his social media platforms Twitter and thanked his fans .
The award ceremony was hosted by Ik Osakioduwa and Queen Zozibini Tinzi from South Africa at Eko Palace Hotel in Lagos on 20th May 2023, with Femi Odugmemi a phenomenal producer , writer and film director being the leading judge and powdered by Multi choice .
Brotherhood produced by Jade osibweru is based on true story of two young men surviving in Lagos featuring amazing acts that’s to say Falz , Sam Dede , Basket month released in 2022. He was nominated with over five cinematographers and movie Directors from East , west and south Africa that’s to say Charles Oleghe , Ekuka Ishaq , Idowu Adedapo , Jonathan Kovel , KX Gambit , Yinka Edward , Jade Osibweru , Kunke Afoliyan and so many others.
