Lira-based rapper Stayput, is about to drop a new single, titled “Awaka”
In a recent video from the studio, the Northern UG rapper gave his fans a sneak peak at the single and
wrote a caption indicating that it will be released this weekend.
“Awaka”, which means ‘pride’ in the Luo dialect, is another track from the rapper who is one of those
from the new breed of rappers coming out of Lira city this decade who have put their city on the map
“Awaka” was produced by Giniman at Reekods Studios ,Gulu and it was mastered by the renowned
mastering engineer Nase Avater.
It is guaranteed to be a favorite amongst hip hop fans in Northern Uganda and a cross the world
This weekend fans can now only look forward to hearing the track and seeing what Stayput has in store.
