While some Ugandan artists like to keep their fans hungry in between songs, Jay Arc has been known to keep his own satisfied with regular singles as he waits out to drop his debut album very soon.

In June, the rapper returned with a single “Bandali” featuring Martha Smalls whom he once collaborated with on a single called `Paradise`. This latest single follows Jay`s January release of “90`s Treasure”.

The upbeat track that was produced by  DJ Slugface finds Jay Arc and Martha Smalls offering up free gems on how their fans can get vibed up on Kampala`s nightlife, including being enjoyable to themselves.

While talking to us about what inspired him to do `Bandali`, Jay Arc says that he penned down this song during the very tough times of the Covid 19 pandemic and that since everything was lockdown including entertainment, he was missing Kampala`s night life and thus had to tell a story of what exactly happens out there in bars and other happening places.

“I also wanted to have a song ready to make my fans feel nice after the pandemic is behind us which I think this song will most definitely serve this purpose and the timing of releasing it now wouldn’t have been any better”, Jay Arc says.

Martha Smalls on the other hand is an uncompromising artist who runs with an equally adventurous set of collaborations with rappers.  In 2018, she jumped on `Day Ones`, a song by Flex D`Paper featuring Navio, in 2020 she collaborated with Ruyonga to give us ` Ekitakumenya`, she recently had a collaboration with The Mith dubbed `The Ugandan` not mentioning `Nyenya` where she was featured by Tucker HD and The Mith and every time she guests on a hip-hop truck, she sounds ice-cold sincere.
