Whitney Peak is an actress born on 28th January 2003 in Kampala, Uganda. She is known for playing Judith in the American supernatural horror TV series “Child Adventures of Sabrina” and as Zoya Lott in the teen drama TV series “Gossip Girl.” Her big-screen debut came in the 2017 film “Campfire Kiss.” In 2018, she made a guest appearance in an episode of the science fiction film “Legends of Tomorrow” in 2016. In 2017, she appeared in the drama-crime film “Molly’s Game.”
She went on to appear in other films. This includes the first episode of the science fiction series “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” in 2018, the science fiction series “iZombie” in 2015, and the series “Home before Dark” in 2020. When filming “Gossip Girl,” she had to fly from Canada to the US. During the COVID-19 outbreak, she had to live alone. She was only 18 years old.
Before she played her own character, Zoya Lott, on HBO Max’s reboot of Gossip Girl, Whitney Peak loved the original series. The Original Gossip Girl took place from 2007-2012, meaning Peak was five years old when the series premiered. However, she says that she watched it a few years before she became a part of the Gossip Girl family herself. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she says she thought the original show was “so entertaining,” but it was also “weird” for her because she went to a public school rather than an elitist, private school like Constance Billards.
Though Peak spends her time between NYC and LA currently, she was born in Uganda. Her mother is Uganadan while her father is Canadian. She went to boarding school in Uganda until she was ten when her family relocated to Canada in 2012. She says that when she moved to North America, she found more opportunities to act.
In 2021, Whitney Peak was announced as the newest brand ambassador for the French fashion house, Chanel. Since then, she’s had many opportunities to work with prestigious designers and publications, showcasing her and natural power in front of the camera. Not only is she gorgeous, but her personal style is similarly artistic yet cool.
