The collaboration comes as part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to support cancer patients and raise awareness about the disease.
Zulitums, known for his soulful melodies and powerful lyrics, has composed and performed a stirring song titled “Omwana,” with a poignant message of “Together we can beat cancer – Ono Cancer Tatuyinza” (translated to “This Cancer Can Be Defeated”). The official unveiling of the song will take place at the Jinja Referral Hospital on April 9, 2024. Mr. Mugga, CEO of Charlie Mugga Teenage Cancer Initiative, alongside Zulitums, will present the song to patients, caregivers, and medical staff, aiming to ignite a spark of hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
