D`lex`s mind has always been an open sponge that has been assimilating each and every good kindling in their songs. “Thats why i waylay for anyone that ever debases them”.

A recap of who D`lex is!

At the beginning of August in 2021, rap D`lex put on his punching gloves and went after Jim Nola’s ribs  in another “How Many Mics” freestyle challenge which he titled “Afforestation”.

“In a world of global warming it is considered foolish to name your song deforestation” DLEX said.  Jim Nola in his context was lyrically implying that he is on the mic to cut all the trees in the forest, in connotation that Baboon Forest Entertainment will be no more, the young vibrant rapper D`lex named his challenge “Afforestation”, reminding Jim Nola that he is lyrically too weak to cut down even a single cassava tree and that an MC like D`lex is ensuring that there is even more planting of trees in areas that haven’t recently had any tree cover, in order to create other forests. Morally being on the right side of Environmental history !!!!

On “Afforestation”, you recognize D`lex`s flow with high-spirited poetic elements that were embedded within each expertly crafted bar. Rap isn’t rap without a little friendly competition and a play on words for shock value, but D`lex went for blood in the aorta on this track. Even involving blaming Jim Nola’s mother for the improper upbringing of her son.

“I did the aforestation song as a typical composition instance for that regard. I’ve always wanted my greatest penchant in hiphop to be lyricism, I always admire to be a word stewist so that my lyricism can cut through every first listener’s suspicion about me. Cause i strongly believe lyricism is hiphop’s greatest appendage”, the rapper told this website.

Then about hissound, D`lex wants it to be an artistic utilitarian with a nibbling edge of pride and courage peppered in it. ” Cause i feel like its another way i can command undivided attention from ardent hiphop listeners”.

As most rappers play to the gallery by diluting the indigenous gist culture of hiphop by incorporating it with alternative genres, D`lex wants to always keep it crass but classic.

Despite grappling to find a sophisticated production with a meek price, D`lex`s name will one day be winded on each and every verge of this country.

Asked aboit his latest song, D`lex says he`s going to be done on one of the most trending world beats now.

“I ask hip-hop followers to open ears for young hip-hop acts. Cause we also have something special to say”.
